Here are the photos we promised!
Hope you like them all
Mr.Stripes, Cralsky and some of our burmese python (no name yet?)

We found out that Cralsky(our ball python) is from Benin, something that isn't our best choice concerning wild animals and such, but she is really calm and cute, still exploring and afraid of everything. We hope that she's gonna be less scared in the future ;-)

Enjoy!

Albino Burmese Python! little info about these magestic animals.

6 months old albino burmese python in the house :p ADORABLE!!!
great behaviour, friendly with all other animals in the house, (corn snakes, iguana, dog)

Burmese pythons also known as Asiatic rock pythons or tiger pythons( python molurus bivittatus) are among the largest snakes.Their life span can exceed 20 years.( the longest recorded was 28 years and 3 months)
They reach maturity when they are approximately 3 years old.
Pythons are concidered a primitive snake differing from many othes species by having two functioning lungs and vertical, or left over, hind limbs. These vestigial limbs look like spurs on either side of the cloaca/
These snakes do not kill their prey with venom, but with suffocation.
There are reports about these species preying on humans, but these are often myths or unfounded reports.
The burmese python from all the python molurus subspecies is one of the most commonly found as pets because of their calm and gentle nature. Hunted extensively for their skin, which are used in the leather trade...

Reptile Souls just started!

We just started our blog for our beloved reptilian friends!

Every year, the global leather industry slaughters more than a billion animals and tans their skins and hides. Many of these animals suffer all the horrors of factory farming - including extreme crowding and confinement, deprivation and unaneshetised castration, branding, tail-docking and dehorning - as well as cruel treatment during transport and slaughter.
Snakes and lizards are skinned alive because of the belief that live flaying makes exotic leather more supple. Not only that, people buy reptiles and amphibians and once they get bored with them, neglect them, treat them bad for fun, or even kill them for amusement.
They are considered ugly , evil , ugly, disgusting animals , but this is wrong! Reptiles ca be loveable , rewarding and cute pets that need our love and protection as much any other animal !
